如果爸妈漂洋过海去英国看你，这里有一份签证申请攻略

第一步，准备申请材料

爸爸妈妈要申请的签证类型是Standard Visitor Visa(标准旅游签证)，如果想去欧洲玩的话，需要另外申请申根签。

1. 父母需要准备的一些材料

① 护照&旧护照(如果有的话)

② 机票、行程单(如果有详细安排，最好带上)

③ 资金证明：比如银行对账单、有存款记录的存折、收入证明(工作详细信息如入职日期、工资、职位、公司联系信息等)

④ 合法居住权证明，户口本或暂住证;

⑤ 工作证明：雇主用公司抬头纸提供的信函，说明您的职位、工资和工龄

如果是自营者：提供商业注册文件确认公司所有人以及公司开始营业的日期

2.小伙伴们需要提供的材料

① 入学证明

这个学校会为你办理的。注意要用日期较新的证明，最好是一两个星期之内的。如果你准备邀请爸妈参加毕业典礼的话，还可以准备一个关于毕业典礼的证明，同样学校会为你开具。

② 邀请函

很多同学会觉得邀请函是不是应该很正式，需要找学校开具。其实没有必要，下面是英国北京大使馆签证办理负责人的原话，他说校方只需要提供一个你就读于某大学的证明或关于毕业典礼的证明就可以了，其他的应该由学生自己准备。

那自己DIY的邀请函应该包括哪些东西?

1)来访者(即父母)的全名和出生日期

2)你们之间的关系，如父子关系

3)为什么要来看你，如和你一起旅游，或者参加毕业典礼

4)他们打算呆多久，最好具体写出他们到来和离开的日期

5)准备住在哪里?因为你的父母要去看你，所以可以提供你自己的住址，详细说说你的居住情况

6)你自己的签证情况，如Tier 4 学生签证18年10月到期

第二步，申请并递签

把这些材料都发给你的爸妈，让他们在网上进行申请并预约递签(申请入口：https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/uk-visit-visa)，然后到了预约时间去递交材料。需要注意的是，爸妈在英国逗留期间，可以学习(最多30天)，但不可以从事工作，不论是否有偿。

第三步，再唠叨一点

最早可以提前三个月申请签证，申请后三周之内得到答复(具体咨询当地签证中心)。有一点要注意，需要说明希望签证生效的时间，不然会默认在签发当天生效。目前签证申请费用的是£89
