Charter of Incorporation to the University College of North
Staffordshire (later renamed as Keele University) was signed on 11th
August 1949 at the Court at Buckingham Palace.Fast-forward
75 years and this original ethos remains at the core of the
University’s mission, with over 12,500 current student
