An indicative list of optional modules is included below. In addition to the modules taught and supervised by China Institute staff, a range of options from other departments are available. Non-native Chinese speaking students will be encouraged to undertake Mandarin language training at the Modern Language Centre.：将鼓励非母语的汉语学生在现代语言中心接受普通话培训。
An academic tutor will be assigned to each student, providing regular consultation and guidance on the choice of optional modules to advance their knowledge and transferable skills.：将为每个学生分配一名学术导师，就选择可选模块提供定期咨询和指导，以提高他们的知识和可转移技能。
