Our MA in Music gives you time, facilities and authoritative guidance from academics and professional musicians to concentrate on your own musical interests.

The course is taught in Pathways, allowing you to focus your studies on your particular interests. Typically there are around six students working with a particular supervisor on a pathway, and during the year you will concentrate on your own specialist projects. 作品集：In addition to your application, you'll need to send us a video recording or link of varied repertoire which must include Western Art Music, a variety of languages may be shown and musical theatre repertoire can be included. However, we cannot teach/cover pop music, and some students do like to share some work in their home language but this will not be a taught element once in York so we would encourage applicants to only record music in Western languages where possible.
